Bio:
Gaidon grew up in a town in Bordeaux as the son of a merchant. A local knight noticed his leadership and fighting abilities, and took him as squire. Gaidon was elevated to knighthood for his bravery and service in the Fifth Crusade.
Shortly after his dubbing, Gaidon was approached by representatives of the Duke of Aquitaine (aka King Henry III of England) and offered lands and titles in the Dordogne Valley area and an advantageous marriage to the daugher of a noble family in England, in exchange for keeping the Duke’s peace in the region and keeping an eye on the nobles in the area.
The excesses of drunkards that Gaidon witnessed as a child has made him a temperate adult who treats all he encounters with grace and fairness. Gaidon is smitten with his pretty young English wife and would like to spend more time with her, but often finds himself involved in the affairs of the strange characters living at the Commarque castrum.
