This spell tells the caster whether he is in a Magical aura and what its level is. It provides no information regarding a Divine, Infernal or Faerie Aura.

The spell allows the caster to see areas in magical auras as being somewhat more in focus than locations not in magical auras. It is not more distinct, but that is how the area appears to the caster.
